How to Fix the Achievements Are Not Working Issue?
Knights of the Old Republic 2 has been around since 2003, but its age isn’t the only reason why it’s not functioning normally as it was.
Many of the achievements have simply stopped working due to an unknown cause, and there doesn’t appear to be any way to fix them. However, there are still many people who want to complete Knights of the Old Republic 2 completely.
Fix #1: Delete Mods
If your Knights of the Old Republic 2 achievements aren’t working, the first thing you should do is uninstall any of your existing mods. Mods can sometimes interfere with achievements, it’s best to remove some.
To accomplish this, navigate to the Documents\LucasArts\SWKotOR2 folder and delete the override folder. This should resolve the issue, which has worked for us and many members of the community.
Fix #2: Verify the Integrity of Game Files
If your Knights of the Old Republic 2 achievements don’t work, try verifying the integrity of your game files. To do so, launch Steam and select Knights of the Old Republic 2 from your library.
