EA Announces Development of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Ports for PS4 and Xbox One

Great news for Star Wars gaming enthusiasts! During the Q1 earnings call, Electronic Arts (EA) CEO Andrew Wilson revealed that the company is actively working on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One ports for the critically acclaimed game Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

The game initially launched in April on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, receiving widespread acclaim from players and critics alike. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, developed by Respawn Entertainment, emerged as a must-play title, earning high praise from avid gamers and experts.

However, unlike its predecessor, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Survivor did not have versions for the previous-generation consoles, leaving many fans yearning for its arrival on PS4 and Xbox One.

Responding to the Star Wars gaming community’s fervent demand and recognizing the iconic franchise’s enduring popularity, EA’s development team is now fully committed to making the Jedi experience of Survivor accessible to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players.

While the announcement has ignited excitement among the fans, details regarding the release date remain elusive. According to Wilson, the Survivor port is still in the early stages of development, indicating that players may need to exercise patience before embarking on new thrilling adventures in the Star Wars universe on their beloved consoles.

As fans eagerly await the release, they can immerse themselves in Game Informer’s glowing review of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, building anticipation for what’s to come. Furthermore, the game’s director has expressed a vision for the series to evolve into a trilogy, hinting at a promising future for Star Wars gaming enthusiasts.

EA’s commitment to bringing Star Wars Jedi: Survivor to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles has struck a chord with the gaming community. The upcoming port promises to deliver a captivating and immersive experience, allowing players on the previous-gen consoles to explore the Star Wars universe in all its glory.

Stay tuned for further updates as EA continues to work diligently on bringing the epic journey of Jedi: Survivor to life on PS4 [1] and Xbox One. May the Force be with you!
