Square Enix Urges Caution as Final Fantasy 16 Physical Copies Leak Ahead of Launch

The company explicitly requested that those who obtained early copies refrain from spreading screenshots, videos, or engaging in live streams until after the game’s official launch.

“We are aware that a small number of physical copies of Final Fantasy 16 are currently being circulated,” Square Enix acknowledged in their statement. “We are conducting a thorough investigation into the illegitimate acquisitions and taking necessary steps to contain this issue prior to the game’s scheduled launch on June 22nd.”
