Baghdad’s historical significance as a global epicenter during the 9th century has made it a fitting backdrop for Basim’s odyssey in “Assassin’s Creed Mirage.” However, Ubisoft acknowledges that very little tangible evidence of the ancient city remains, posing a unique creative hurdle for the development team.
Extensive research has thus been undertaken to ensure an authentic portrayal of Baghdad’s splendor. Baghdad is divided into four distinct districts in the game, each pulsating with its own identity—ranging from the bustling commercial hub to the industrial quarters.
Furthermore, the city boasts a dynamic day-night cycle, where each hour offers a unique ambiance, unprecedentedly bringing the historic metropolis to life.

Interestingly, Ubisoft has confirmed that no DLC plans [1] are in the pipeline for “Assassin’s Creed Mirage,” reaffirming their focus on delivering an all-encompassing experience within the core game.
