How to Modify Server Settings in V Rising
There are two options for hosting your own server. The first is from your computer, and the second from GPORTAL, which is officially authorized by Stunlock Games.
How to Change Dedicated Private Server Settings in V Rising
Settings are updated by modifying the “ServerGameSettings.json” file, which is stored in:
- Steam > steamapps > common > VRising > VRising_Server > VRisingServer_Data > StreamingAssets > Settings. You may open this file in Notepad (or, even better, Notepad++ for a better overview) and make any changes you like.
Please keep in mind that you need to restart your server for the modifications to take effect.
How to Change GPORTAL Server Settings in V Rising?
- Open your preferred browser and navigate to the official GPORTAL website.
- If you haven't already, log in at the bottom left of the screen.
- Select "My Servers" from the drop-down menu.
- Choose the server that you wish to change.
- Change all of the choices in the next menu by clicking on "Basic Settings."
