How to Drop Oblivion Items on a PC
Drop on the Ground
- You must first open the inventory. To open the journal, press the Tab key on your keyboard and then click on the Fist icon next to your health, magic, and stamina bars.
- You must now select the item that you want to drop. Hold down the Shift key and click on the item you want to drop.
You can also drag and drop the item from your inventory to anywhere in the world. You can drop an item and immediately grab it if you want to carry it around. It is possible to accomplish this by clicking and holding the item in step two.
Put in a Container
- Search for a Container to place your items in.
- Now, look at the Container and press the Spacebar to open it.
- You can navigate between your inventory and the Container once the Container is open. For your inventory, press the Shift key and the left arrow, and for the Container, press the Shift key and the right arrow.
- Select the item you want to drop from your inventory and press Enter.
If you accidentally move an item to the Container, select the same item in the Container and press Enter to return it to your inventory.

- To access your inventory, press LT, and to view the items in the Container, press RT.
- Highlight the item you want to move in your inventory and then press the A button.

If you want to carry an item before dropping it, long press and hold the L2 button in step two to drop and grab the highlighted item. Drop the item wherever you want by releasing the L2 button.
