Sombra, one of Overwatch’s most intriguing and controversial heroes, is set to receive a significant rework in the highly anticipated Overwatch 2. The developers have recently shared some exciting details regarding the changes players can expect in Sombra’s revamped gameplay.
Since her introduction as the second post-launch hero in the original game, Sombra has captivated players with her unique abilities, including cloaking, teleportation, hacking, and turning off enemy players’ skills.

Neuss shared that “a bunch of cool things are happening” for Sombra but clarified that the rework will not be released before the end of Season 5. However, Neuss offered reassurance by stating, “Sombra is not far away,’ and hinted that the rework could arrive shortly after Season 6.
