How to Hire a Worker

In Black Desert Online, workers are employed to gather resources so that you won’t need to use your own energy. They can be sent forth to gather a variety of materials, including ores, logs, and other basic supplies.

Additionally, workers are utilized to create goods from buildings you have bought, such as shipyards and refineries.

By default, each village can only have one worker. You must have enough lodging in the town if you want to hire more than one person.

You must use your CP (Contribution Points) to buy a “lodging” property in order to obtain lodging. When examining the housing in a town, use the filter in the upper right to swiftly identify accommodation properties at that specific town.

There should be a “Worker” NPC in each city as well as in certain settlements where you can go to hire new employees.

By clicking the magnifying glass [1] next to your mini-map in the top left corner of your screen, you can find the closest Work Supervisor NPC. When you find the NPC and speak with him, you should be able to hire workers.

The cost of viewing a random worker is five energy points. Clicking “View Another” will cost you an additional five energy points if you don’t like the employee you receive.

Can You Relocate Workers on Black Desert Online?

You cannot change the employee’s origins. If you truly require a worker in a different city, you will need to connect the two cities via nodes, and your worker will need to travel both ways.
