Who is Wanderer of Genshin Impact?

From being a weekly boss, Genshin Impact recently released Wanderer as a playable character. While we all know how powerful the character is, you won’t get decent gameplay without the right build, weapons, etc.

In this post, our resident game masters will discuss who Wanderer of Genshin Impact is and guide you on selecting the proper build, team, and skills for this newly released character.

Who is This Playable Character of Genshin Impact?

The Wanderer, also called Scaramouche with a former codename the Balladeer, comes from Genshin Impact’s game antagonist lineup. He was introduced as a weekly boss before being released as a playable character on the 7th of December, 2023.

As you may already know, it’s an aerial character with extra powerful charged attacks. Despite his youthful visual and design, Wanderer belongs to the Fatui’s high-ranking members. He has the same ranking as La Signora, which makes him the Sixth of the Eleven Fatui Harbringers.

Since Wanderer originated from Inazuma, it’s only natural that he appears on Archon and Event Quests in that nation. Speaking of Inazuma Archon, it’s important to note that he’s not a human character but a puppet crafted by Ei to maintain her Eternity.

Best Team Members for Wanderer

Since Wanderer has a powerful normal attack, it’s only normal for this character to take on the role of the team’s DPS to deal with the Anemo DMG. For support, your team should have Faruzan because it can reduce Anemo Resistance and boost the DMG.

Yelan is an ideal character for a sub or off-field DPS. In fact, our game experts recommend including one on your team because it can give an extra buff to your character.

Finally, your team’s healer, whom you’ll rely on for ATK buff, is Bennett.  Through this, Scaramouche can swirl Double Pyro more consistently during the gameplay.

However, these team members may interchange with characters like Fischl, Beidou, Kokomi, and Jean. The best team member for your character depends on what type of Wanderer you’re building. Are you a Mono Anemo, Double Pyro, Shielded, or Electro-Charged Wanderer?
