- First, use Shift+E to switch to the Entity Tool. Use the drop-down menu next to Objects and choose one of the "weapon_" entities that have the name of the weapon you want to use.

To place the selected weapon entity, left-click on the ground in the perspective viewport. You can place a weapon entity as is, without rotating it or lining it up with the ground.
However, due to physics, the weapon may move and fall to the ground at spawn. You might want to rotate the weapon entity and line it up with the ground. - If you don't want the player to be able to buy weapons [1] right away, don't add buy zones .
