How to Play Cry of Fear With Friends?
Prior to going to war, follow these initial steps to find allies within the game. Only then will they stand a chance of survival.
Download Hamachi
- Get Hamachi from its official website.
- Sign up for Hamachi. Once done, you've finished the first part of the mission.
Create or Join a Server
- Create red or join an existing red
- Launch Hamachi
- Click Red and create a new network
- Set the password and enter any name in the network field identifier (optional)
- Give it to your friends
Before You Play
Once the server has been created in Hamachi [1], use cooperative mode in Cry of Fear, then launch the game. Once there, you must complete the following steps:
- On a tab server, you select the map.
- After that, you can select the tab game.
- Then you must choose your own hostname (which can be anything), server players (which affect the number of players), and password (do not touch this).
- At this time, the lobby's automatic start time is set to 300. It is the normal time for all players.
- We recommend that you think about the automatic start time (we recommend 60 seconds).
- The server can be paused. If you pause, or if one of the players presses a pause, everything will freeze, but if you don't put a drop, no one will be able to freeze.
Playing With Your Friends
It’s time to activate the Cry of Fear cooperative mode, which requires the following steps:
- In Hamachi, right-click your host friend.
- Copy the IPv4 address.
- Open your game, go to the console (~). If you can't find it, check your options and turn it on. Afterward, type connect and your friend's ipv4 address. For example: connect 25.90.137.190.
- Connect to an existing network.
- Start Hamachi.
- Select the network.
- Connect to an existing network by clicking the Connect button.
- Enter your identifier and password.
- You can start playing the game with your friends.
