Black Desert Online is a great game, but it can be frustrating when it takes forever to download. Here are some tips to help you speed up the process.
How to Speed Up the Download Process
The number of megabits downloaded or uploaded—often referred to as internet speed—determines how well your network operates.
If the network’s internet speed is poor, the problem may be with your ISP (Internet Service Provider). However, there may be more causes, one of which is system flaws, which can reduce the pace of Windows downloads.

Restarting your computer and power cycling your modem may help with a sluggish connection if your computer has been on for a while and its resources are low.
If certain downloads are taking longer than normal for you, you can also try deleting the Steam Download Cache and see if that helps.
How Much RAM Does BDO Use?
You must have at least 27 GB of free disk space available due to the size of the game files. Black Desert Online requires a minimum of 4 GB of installed RAM [1] in your PC.
For Black Desert Online to function at its best, ideally you should have 8 GB of RAM. An Intel Core i3-530-compatible CPU is the bare minimum requirement for Black Desert Online. To play the game, the developers advise using a CPU with at least an Intel Core i5-650.
You may play the game as long as your graphics card is at least an ATI Radeon HD 3870. However, the developers claim that an AMD Radeon RX 480 graphics card is the best choice. Black Desert Online may be played on computers running Windows 7 or higher (32-bit or 64-bit).
