If you’re a fan of 7 Days to Die, then you know that one of the best parts of the game is finding buried treasure. But what is the usual depth of a buried treasure site on 7 Days to Die? Read on to find out.
What is the Usual Depth of a Buried Treasure?
Treasure Quests are initiated by treasure maps discovered by the player. These maps may be found via looting ZPacks and tier 2 through 5 POI loot rooms. Once collected, the map can be held in the player’s inventory or storage until ready to accept.

Here are some key points to know about the buried treasure on 7D2D:
- A circle is the treasure "hotspot."
- The box can be placed anywhere in the "hot spot."
- The treasure might be three or more blocks deep.
- The box can only be opened once before self-destructing along with everything within. Take everything you require the first time around.
- Treasure quests can be repeated.
- Treasure chests found in water will be found on the lake [1] bottom and will not require digging, which is not always the case.
- Without the treasure finder perk, it is especially challenging.

There are seven different Treasure Quests to choose from:
- Taylor's Treasure Quest
- Nickole's Treasure Quest
- Stephan's Treasure Quest
- Jennifer's Treasure Quest
- Claude's Treasure Quest S
- Sarah's Treasure Quest
