Are you a 7 Days to Die player who wants to learn how to use the Teleport command? If you’re not familiar with this feature, you’ve come to the right place. In this blog post, we’ll be covering everything you need to know about teleporting on 7 Days to Die.
By the end of this post, you should have a good understanding of this command to your advantage. Let’s start with the basics!
How to Use the Teleport Command?
With such large maps and few transportation alternatives, it’s a relief to discover that 7 Days to Die has a teleport command to use with the console. To teleport, you’ll need to know how to open the console, which you can do by using one of the following keys:
- F1
- "
- @
- Ö
- Ø
- F2
- Ñ

Teleport a Player to You
To teleport a friend or other player to you, use the following command: teleportplayer [Target Player ID] [Your Player ID]
This requires determining your own player ID as well as the player ID of the player to whom you intend to teleport. Here’s what you need to do when you’ve determined your player ID and the player ID of the player you want to teleport to is:
- Replace [Target Player ID] with the player ID of the player you wish to teleport
- Replace [Your Player ID] with your own player ID

So, if your player ID was 171 and the player ID you intended to teleport to was 198, use the following command:
teleportplayer 198 171
Teleport to Another Player
If you want to teleport to another player, the teleport [Player ID] command is used. Type “lpi” (without quotes) into the console to find the player ID of the player you want to teleport to.
Then, replace [Player ID] with the player ID of the player to teleport to, and you’re done. For example, if the player’s ID was 187, the following command would work:
teleport 187
Teleport to Coordinates
It sucks to find a great location and then lose it. Fortunately, you can always use the teleport command to return to a location if you know its coordinates.
Your current coordinates can be found with the “lp” command. After determining the coordinates to which you want to teleport, use the teleport [X] [Y] [Z] command:

- Replace [X] with the X (first) coordinate
- Replace [Y] with the Y (second) coordinate
- Replace [Z] with the Z (third) coordinate
To get the coordinates [1], enter the following command:
teleport 1244 61 -619
