Have you ever wanted to give yourself a leg up in 7 Days to Die? Well, it turns out there is a way to do just that.

By following a few simple steps, you can add skill points to your character, giving them an edge in the game. This guide will show the way to do it!

Is There a Way to Give Yourself Skill Points on 7 Days to Die?

You can make changes to the progression.xml file. Set it to give you as many skill points as you like when you level up next. Use the command below.

7 Days to Die Skill Point Command
  • <progression>
  • <player
  • max_level=”200″
  • exp_to_level=”4000″
  • experience_multiplier=”1.0142″
  • skill_points_per_level=”5″ <–change this to whatever number you like.
  • skill_point_multiplier=”0″/>

Then, exit the game and re-edit it to what you want or to the default.

Can You Reset Your Points on 7 Days to Die?

Skill Points are reset and can only be obtained via Traders. When utilized, you will unlearn all of the different skills you have perked into, and all of the points will returned as unused points.

Books and schematics [1] read by the player remain unaffected, but are useful if you want to perk up into something new.
