Have you ever wondered what those Night Vision Goggles do in 7 Days to Die? You don’t have to figure it out by yourself anymore! Here, we’ll share what these goggles are capable of how they can help you survive the night.
What Are Night Vision Goggles?
Night Vision Goggles are high-tech goggles that allow the wearer to see in extremely low-light situations. They may only be obtained by looting them or by appearing at the dealer on rare occasions.
They are most commonly found on zombies that are wearing military-grade armor. Follow these steps to set up Night Vision Goggles:

- Launch the Character Menu (Default: B)
- Insert the Night Vision Goggles into the glasses slot
- To switch on a flashlight, press the same key (Default: F, Left direction on console)
- Once equipped, goggles will deactivate full-face helmets and vice versa [1]
How Long Does a Night Last in the Game?
The sun always sets at 22:00 and rises at 4:00, 6:00, 8:00, or 10:00. You can adjust the length of a 24-hour cycle (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 90, or 120 minutes in real-time).
The length of a 24-hour cycle impacts not just how long a day lasts, but also how long a night lasts.
