If you’re playing 7 Days to Die and need some mechanical parts, never fear. There are a few ways to get your hands on them.

In this post, we’ll show you how to find mechanical parts in the game so that you can keep repairing those all-important machines. Let’s get started.

How to Get Mechanical Parts

Mechanical Parts are uncraftable multi-purpose parts that may be utilized to make a variety of items. They are used mostly in vehicles, some tools, and a variety of mechanical electronic devices and traps.

Mechanical Parts may be found in Destroyed Workbenches, Toolboxes, Mo Power Crates and shelves, and Working Stiffs Crates on rare occasions.

Also, some of these items can provide such parts: Salvaging Air Conditioners, Gas Stations, Office Chairs, File Cabinets, Reinforced Drawbridges, Shopping Carts, Gas Pumps, Ovens, and broken down cars such as Sedans, Safes, and Metal Doors. Mechanical Parts may only be obtained by using a proper salvage instrument, such as a Wrench.

Other tools will only produce basic materials like iron. Office chairs and file cabinets, particularly in bigger facilities, are also a great source of mechanical parts. A scrapped engine yields 30 Mechanical Parts.

How to Get a Wrench?

Wrenches can be created and also be found. Wrenches may be found in treasure bags dropped by zombies, working stiff containers. Also,  traders can sell them.

7 Days to Die has many tools in the same class, but a wrench is the most basic tool in the class. The ratchet is a better version of a wrench, and the impact driver is a better version of that.

All three tools will work; the higher tiers are preferable, but a wrench is still an option, particularly early on. To create, they all require skills or schematics, as well as mechanical parts.

12 forged iron, 4 mechanical parts, and 2 duct tape are used to make a wrench. The perception tree skill Salvage Operations is required for creating the item.

You may also study the wrench schematic to make the wrench without using Salvage Operations. The Miner69’er skill may be used to produce higher-level wrenches.

After a few levels, you’ll be able to create some highly reliable equipment to aid you in your 7 Days to Die gameplay and help you obtain more resources, such as mechanical parts.
